To perform an SFC (system file checker) scan, please try the following:

-For Win8 Users: Open the Start Screen, and type 'cmd'. Right-click on the search result and select 'Run as administrator' from below.

-For VISTA/7 Users: click Start, in the start search field type 'cmd'. Right-click on the search result and select 'Run as administrator'.

-For XP Users: Click Start and then Run, Type 'cmd' and hit enter.

-VISTA/7/8 ONLY: If UAC is enabled, click 'Continue'

-Type: sfc /scannow
-Wait for the scan to complete (this can take several minutes)
-When the scan has completed, please let us know the result of the scan (if you have a support ticket with us).

When the scan is complete, and before you close the results window, please send a screenshot of it (in your support ticket if you have one). To get a screenshot, simply do the following:

- Get the information on screen that you would like to take a screen shot of.
- Press the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard (Usually above the "Insert" key).
- Press your Windows Key + R to bring up the Run dialog
- Type in MSPAINT and click "OK".
- Go to the "Edit" menu and select "Paste".
- When told that the image is too large for the designated area, agree and say that you want the image area resized.
- You will now see your screenshot.
- Go to the "File" menu and select "Save As...". Make sure you select to save the image as type JPG.
- Attach the image to your mail message, and send that back to us.
