Launch8 is crashing

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

Please zip up the contents of this directory

C:\Users\YourMachineUserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

like so:

As in the movie, once you have the zip, move it to your desktop and delete all but the 'User Pinned' folder. It may re-create a desktop2.ini file, that is fine.

If this works, you will have an empty Lauch8 on your Win8 start:

From here you can drag icons back into the bar.



If that still fails, please download and run the following utility:
